THE STAFF EXCHANGE BETWEEN SUT AND INAC
The Staff exchanges between SUT and INAC is in progress. The SUT members spent already 189 days (6.75 person-month) in total on training at INAC laboratories. in the same time researchers frim INAC spent in total 68 days (2.42 person-month) in Poland.
SUT researchers visit in INAC:
M. Czichy – 22.08.2016-21.09.2016
R. Turczyn – 22.08.2016-21.09.2016
A. Kazek-Kesik – 26.02.2017 – 12.03.2017
R. Turczyn – 18.02.2017 -14.04.2017
K. Karon – 18.02.2017 -14.04.2017
The main aim of the exchange was the learn of new research techniques and methodologies like X-rays diffraction, X-ray scattering techniques, X-ray spectral decomposition, X-ray imaging of polymer semiconductors; optical reflection microscopy for detailed and microstructural characterization; charge mobility estimation in organic materials as well as photoconductive and photocurrent measurements (determination on the electronic spin-polarized transport in organic materials) under light illumination or charge voltage; sample preparation for current measurements: speed coating, electrochemical experiment performed in a glove box enclosing; chemical etching process of photoelectrodes; techniques of physical deposition of metal electrodes e.g. evaporation deposition. The training showed the difference between estimation of charge mobility by different techniques and which parameters are crucial for OLED and OSC applications. One of the most important parts of the training was an estimation of charge mobility using CELIV method (Current Extraction under Linear Increasing Voltage). Current and photocurrent were measured respectively, as a function of charge voltage and incident light. The charge mobility was determined by current extraction under linear increasing voltages.

Researchers from INAC presented during their visit at SUT a series of lectures on various spectroscopy analyses and charge mobility measurements.
The aim of INAC training was to briefly present different electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical techniques to allow them to choose technique suitable for their research and to show how to avoid most common mistakes in the analysis.
